You will learn how to find business ideas from your skills and experience, identify your target customers and the problems they face, build a simple business model, understand pricing and basic money management, avoid common startup pitfalls, and make use of support services in Tokyo so that you can take your first practical step with confidence.

Mitsuko Nakagome
Mitsuko Nakagome is a Certified Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant (SMEC) with extensive experience in international business and entrepreneurship support.
She began her career in overseas sales, working on market research, export procedures, exhibitions and sales promotion. She later worked as a conference and simultaneous interpreter across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, IT, pharmaceuticals, finance and investment.
Today, she supports entrepreneurs and small businesses with business planning, startup preparation, marketing, funding and international business development. She also provides startup consultations at the Tokyo One-Stop Business Establishment Center (TOSBEC), including support for international entrepreneurs starting businesses in Japan.
